"Ancient Thebes possessed a considerable number of pyramids, most of which are today in a very ruined state. Contrary to earlier reconstructions, the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep Nebhepetrê did not have a pyramid. Neither is there clear evidence that pyramids were present in the necropolis of at-Tarif, somewhat to the north.
From Dra Abu'l-Naga there is a pyramidion of Antef VI Sechemrêupmaat; in addition, there are a number of mudbrick pyramids from private tombs of the 19th-20th Dynasties. Similar pyramids can be found at Deir el-Medina and a few other locations. Pyramids are also attested at some tombs from the 25th and 26th Dynasties."
