Hallo an alle Forumsmitglieder und Besucher !
Wir haben uns mal wieder etwas ganz besonderes für euch einfallen lassen
Hier in diesem Thread könnt ihr Fragen stellen, die ihr gerne von Dr. Zahi Hawass beantwortet haben möchtet.
Wir werden dann die ca. 20 interessantesten daraus auswählen und diese direkt an
Dr. Zahi Hawass zur Beantwortung schicken.
Wir haben für diese Aktion seine Zusage und er freut sich auf eure Fragen
Einsendeschluss für eure Fragen haben wir noch keinen festgelegt, denn das hängt natürlich
auch ein wenig von der Resonanz hier ab.
Also im Zweifelsfall besser nicht zu lange warten ....

01. Hallo Dr. Hawass,
you have acess to all graves and other Places of history in Egypt, which place has the greatest attraction for you? Where is your favorite in your wonderful Land? (billbo)
02. is it forseeable when "The Grand Egyptian Museum" in Giza will open and wich exhibitions will be shown? And what is about the yet not shown "Treasures" from the basement of the museum in Kairo? (Meretaton)
03. Which new interesting excavations/projects are planned for the year 2008? (Meretaton)
04. Is the mummy of Hatschepsut now completly identified and are the analysises completed? (Meretaton)
05. Has the scottisch archaeologist Mathieson discovored the Imhotep´s tomb in Saqqara? (Meretaton)
06. Which explanation has Dr. Hawass about the "light bulb-relief" in the crypt of the Hathor Tempel in Dendera? (Meretaton)
07. What are your plans to preserve all pharaonic buildings in the future? like the toxic smoke and toxic rain and especially the ascending water level at the sphinx. (Anck-Su-Namun)
08. Why does "important people" (like the president of france) become extra permissions to watch close tombs in the valley of the kings and tourist and egypt-lovers have now chance to see anything of this. Must we be important to see all treasures of egypt? (Anck-Su-Namun)
09. Dr Pro Hawas,what are you going to make with the Sphinx street,1000 of Cars and lkw are driving very close to the Pyramids,do you think,itsnot better to close this way for the lkw? (amunra)
10. Why the governement built the big wall around the Pyramids?for that money it would be possible i think to change the wohle area?do u think the Pyramids donot need to be cleaned up i mean around the Pyramids? (amunra)
11. what are u going to do with the historical building(rest haus)of king Farouk which is going to be collapsed? (amunra)
12. Do u think,its the right way to get the tourist out of the buses on the ramp driving to the pyramides to get them through the control,its perfekt but not on the ramp mabe somewhere else,if the police checked the tourists did they checked the buses?i think the pyramids area have to be controlled in a diffrent way? 13. Is there any chance to take photos in the museums? And if it is not allowed to the tourists - is it possible to order any photo? Some objects are very famous and can be seen in lots of books or in the internet, but others cannot be found anywhere, and that's a pity. If we can download music for a fee, why not pictures of museum objects? (bint_hathor)
14. Is there any chance, that the tomb of sethos I. and nefertari will be opened again for tourists? (Geraldine)
15. We were a little bit astonished about the presentation of the Golden
Mummies in Bahariya. Is it planed, the Mummys to protect and show them in a respectfull surroundings? (Fotokati)
